About Christian Actor Seeks Scholarship

Hello, this is James Mapes. I’ve worked on the other side of the camera as a producer and animator for TV commercials since 1992, but for me, acting in front of a camera is something I’ve enjoyed and desired to pursue as a career even as a teen. Now, life brings me to a place where making a career change is practical, achievable, and purposeful; and as a Christian, I will represent God honorably in the industry.

It’s my aim to build work credits for the next 2-3 years working locally. This opens a door for an opportunity to work from offices in larger cities in the U.S. with the ultimate goal of acting on a TV show or in a film.
